Of children in forced labour worldwide, more than half are in commercial sexual exploitation. The rest are in other forced labour. This is why Correctional puts children first without pretending every trafficked person is a child.

Caveats

“Forced labour” here is the ILO’s legal category. It is not the same as every child who works, and it is not a count of raids. Prevalence estimates move slowly and hide the people who never meet a survey.

What the 90% is for

Money helps the children these partners can actually take: identification through hotlines and CyberTipline reports, then housing, counseling, and legal protection. A pledge that only funds a raid photo is not what the 90% is for.
